At Frank C. Whiteley Elementary, we are proud to educate approximately 630 diverse students from Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Guided by our vision—"DREAM — STRIVE — BELIEVE. BE YOU! Specialized Programming: Japanese TBE

Whiteley is proud to offer a Japanese Transitional Bilingual Education (TBE) program. This unique offering supports qualifying students in achieving academic excellence while honoring and expanding their native language skills.

Guided by our dedicated Japanese Resource Teacher, students build on their linguistic strengths across core academic subjects, including:

• Japanese Language Arts & English Language Development
• Japanese & U.S. History and Culture
• Core Academic Content

We believe strong partnerships build strong schools. At Whiteley, community engagement is at the heart of what we do:

• Active PTA Partnership: Our staff collaborates closely with the Parent-Teacher Association to create rich, diverse opportunities for our students and families.
• Student Leadership: We encourage students to lead both inside and outside the classroom through different opportunities.
